The FTC Palette stands for: "Form", "Theme", "Context." This palette will help you to understand and analyse works of art in a manner that will make visible arguments that you may incorporate into a thesis argument.
The palette demonstrates its use with "The Wave" and includes a blank palette for your use. The palette is used to help you answer the important questions regarding any work of art. Once you have researched the answers to many of these questions, you can look across the various parts, form, theme, context, and develop arguments based on such information.
